Attorney review required
Draft document. Pending attorney review before launch.
This is an original draft written for this business. It has not been reviewed by an attorney and must not be published in its current form.
This policy explains what First American Debt Help collects when you use this website, why we collect it, who else sees it, and what you can ask us to do with it. We have tried to write it in the same plain language we use on the phone.
Who this policy covers
This policy applies to this website and to the information you send us through it. It does not cover any other company's website, including sites we link to. Our mailing address is 12724 Gran Bay Parkway W, Suite 410, Jacksonville, FL 32258.
Information you give us
Almost everything we hold about you is information you typed into one of our forms.
The qualifier form
Our three step qualifier asks for the following, in this order:
- The range of merchant cash advance debt your business carries
- Whether you currently hold one or more merchant cash advances
- Your name, your business name, your email address, and your phone number
- Whether you checked the optional box giving us permission to call and text you, along with the version of that consent language and the time you submitted it
If your answers indicate that we are not able to help, the form tells you so before asking for any contact details.
The contact form
Our contact form collects your name, email address, phone number if you choose to provide one, and whatever you write in the message field. Please do not send account numbers, tax identification numbers, or similarly sensitive details through a web form. We will tell you a safer way to send documents once we are in touch.
Information collected automatically
Our web host records standard server logs, which include IP addresses, browser type, and the pages requested. If analytics or advertising tags are installed on this site, they are listed here: [PLACEHOLDER: analytics and advertising tags in use]. You can control cookies through your browser settings.
How we use what you send us
- To answer your message or return your call
- To review your situation and tell you whether restructuring, settlement, or another option fits
- To negotiate with your funding companies, and to support any related legal matter, if you become a client and ask us to
- To keep records we are required to keep, including records of the consent you gave and when you gave it
- To improve this website and understand which pages are useful
We do not use your information to make automated decisions that carry legal consequences for you. A person reviews every submission.
Calls, texts, and withdrawing consent
Our forms include an optional consent checkbox. It starts unchecked, and submitting the form without checking it still reaches us. When you check it, you agree to this language:
I agree that First American Debt Help may call and text me at the number provided, including with an autodialer or prerecorded messages, about my merchant cash advance debt. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out.
Consent is not a condition of receiving any service from us. You can withdraw it at any time and in any reasonable way. Reply STOP to any text message, tell the person you are speaking with, or write to us at the address above. Withdrawing consent stops marketing and automated contact at that number. If you are an active client, we may still need to reach you about your own case, and we will use the method you prefer.
Who else sees your information
We share your information only where it is necessary to do the work or to follow the law.
- Our form processor. Form submissions on this site are delivered to our inbox by a third party service, Web3Forms. Your submission passes through their systems in order to reach us, and it is handled under their own privacy terms.
- Service providers. Email, phone, document storage, and case management vendors that we use to run the business, each limited to what they need to provide that service.
- Your funding companies and, where applicable, licensed attorneys. Only after you engage us and only to the extent needed to work your file.
- Legal and regulatory recipients. Where a subpoena, court order, or applicable law requires disclosure.
We do not sell your information
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not rent, trade, or share it with lead buyers, data brokers, or other marketers. Your submission came to us because you asked us a question, and that is the only reason we hold it.
How long we keep it
If you contact us and never become a client, we keep your submission and our correspondence for [PLACEHOLDER: retention period for inquiries], then delete it. If you become a client, we keep your file for [PLACEHOLDER: retention period for client files] after your matter closes, because settlement records, consent records, and financial correspondence have to be retrievable for a period after the work ends. Records we are legally required to keep are held for the period the law requires.
How we protect it
This site is served over an encrypted connection, access to submissions is limited to the people who work your file, and vendor accounts are protected by individual credentials. No system is perfectly secure, and we will not tell you otherwise. If a breach affects your information, we will notify you as required by law.
Your choices and requests
You can ask us to show you what we hold about you, correct something that is wrong, delete information we are not required to keep, or stop contacting you. Depending on where your business is located, you may have additional rights under state privacy law. To make a request, write to the address above or use our contact form. We will respond within [PLACEHOLDER: response window for privacy requests]. We may need to verify who you are before acting on a request.
Children
This site is for business owners. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of the page. The consent language on our forms carries its own version identifier, currently fa-consent-v1-2026-08-29, and any change to that language creates a new version rather than replacing the old one.
